Pioneer Press daily newspaper, and he has nearly four decades of experience in researching and writing stories and producing reports about companies and market segments around the world. In addition to his newspaper experience, Delmont has served as an award-winning marketing strategist for a variety of clients ranging from a national chain of health and fitness clubs to several national banks and insurance companies. Delmont’s marketing experience has been focused on the development of corporate business plans, corporate marketing plans, crisis communications, and market share development in tightly competitive situations. Currently, Delmont, 65, provides market development services to Power Products Marketing, the Minneapolis market research firm. He also is a contributing editor to Dealernews magazine, the oldest and largest business magazine serving the North American powersports market. In his spare time, he writes business stories for national and regional business magazines. Delmont most recently produced an industry-leading special China Report for Dealernews magazine that studied the impact of the growing Chinese manufacturing industry on the North American powersports industry. He spent more than six months producing the report, including traveling for two weeks visiting Chinese factories and interviewing Chinese business leaders. |
