Mini Excavators have declined in retail sales over the past couple of years in North America, but the percentage of Japanese manufactured product hasn't. Power Products Marketing reports that 70% of all Mini Excavators sold in North America originated from a plant in Japan. This has been very consistent since 2005 when the number originally bumped up over the 70% mark.
